Singer Sjava has been pulled out from the lineup of the Cape Town International Jazz Festival.
He was billed to perform at the festival on the 28th of March,He has since been removed due to the serious rape allegations that were levelled against him.
In a statement, organizers of the festival said that they are removing Sjava due to the seriousness of the allegations levelled against the singer.
‘Due to the seriousness of the allegations levelled against Sjava, the Management of the Cape Town International Jazz Festival has withdrawn Sjava’s performance from the CTIJF 2020 line up.’ Read the statement:

The Cape Town International Jazz Festival is scheduled to take place on the 28th and the 29th of March and it features many artists including Lady Zamar, Lira and many more.
