South African celebrities haven’t missed a step as they have gone from starting their own foundations to donating to those in need or perform live on their social media platforms to raise funds.

Black Coffee is one of the most recent celebs to share how South Africans have helped towards helping raise funds. “After weeks of isolation = reflecting, I’ve decided that I will commit to a residency of livestream sessions…but this time, while fundraising and building awareness to aid different charities”, he captioned one of his posts on Instagram.

On Wednesday, 22 April 2020, Black Coffee shared the promotional poster for Home Brewed 003, revealing that he has decided to team up with Minnie Dlamini Jones and her sponsor, Jaguar South Africa, to raise even more money during the livestream scheduled to take place on Saturday, 25 April 2020. Collectively, they aim to raise funds which will be donated to Red Cross South Africa’s COVID-19 #FeedingSATogether initiative.

Since starting his Home Brewed series, Black Coffee has already raised over R411 000 towards various charities working on the ground to provide food parcels to families and individuals unable to earn an income because of the national lockdown.

The livestream is scheduled to take place at 21:00 South African time. In preparation for Home Brewed 003 Black Coffee has already setup a GoFundMe page for interested parties to start donating.
