After much anticipation from Y listeners, DJ Ankletap has finally announced that his new radio home will be YOU FM.
The DJ, whose real name is Bryce Clark, made the announcement on Friday during his last breakfast show.
Taking a bow, Ankletap took to his timeline sharing memories from his time spent at YFM, expressing his gratitude for the support he's been shown over the years.
"Today marks the end of an era for me as I bid farewell to YFM, a place that has been my home for so many years. As the longest-serving presenter in the station's history, I leave as a legend — but more importantly, as 'Malume' to all of you.
"I want to take this moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering support and love throughout my time here. From the early-morning drives to the late-night shows, you have been there with me every step of the way. Your dedication has made this journey all the more meaningful, and I will forever cherish the memories we have created together," he wrote.
Botlhale Baitsiwe, popularly known as Nia Brown, takes over as the new breakfast show host on The Way Up with Mthaux and OK Wasabi.
"I am so excited to embrace this opportunity. Hosting breakfast is a dream come true and I can't wait to connect with Y listeners in the mornings and introduce them to each new day with news they've missed, laughter and just great entertainment," she said in a statement.
Lula Odiba is the new weekday lunchtime host alongside actor Caddy.
Ayanda MVP keeps the driving seat on the afternoon drive show with contributor Tulz Madala on Home Run from 3-6pm.
DJ Supta takes on a brand new slot at 7-10pm on weeknights with Unlocked.
Mncedisi Sindane and Thabo X, both winners from Y's talent search competition, #BeTheNext, will now host weekend Breakfast 06:00-10:00 and the Saturday afternoon show 14:00-17:00, respectively.
