Following unprecedented demand and subsequent Pretoria leg of Tamia's South African Tour selling out earlier this week, show promoters today announced an additional show for SunBet Arena for Sunday, July 9.

On Wednesday, it was announced that the performance at the SunBet Arena on Saturday, 8 July, was sold out.

"Due to huge public outcry following our sold-out announcement on social media, we decided, if possible, to extend the tour in Gauteng," Vertex Entertainment's Thato Segaole said in a statement. "The venue was available, and post discussions with Tamia and her management team, her availability for an extra show was confirmed."

"She also expressed much excitement and delight in staying slightly longer in South Africa. It's official, the extra show is confirmed."

Tamia will kick off her South African tour at the Grand Arena, GrandWest in Cape Town, on Tuesday, 4 July and perform again at the Durban ICC in KwaZulu-Natal on Friday, 7 July, before heading to Pretoria.
