SuperSport United will lock horns with Highlands Park in an Absa Premiership match at the Lucas Moripe Stadium in Atteridgeville tonight at 20:00.
United extended their unbeaten run to seven matches in the league when they drew 1-1 with Stellenbosch at home last weekend.
Despite the draw, SuperSport climbed up to second place on the league standings – 10 points behind the leaders, Kaizer Chiefs.
Meanwhile, Highlands Park extended their winless run to five matches in the league when they drew 0-0 with Cape Town City away last weekend.
As a result, the Lions of the North are placed sixth on the league standings – three points behind fourth-placed Lamontville Golden Arrows.
Elsewhere Kaizer Chiefs will play host to Bloemfontein Celtic in an Absa Premiership match at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban on Saturday evening,at 20:15.
Chiefs extended their unbeaten run to seven matches in the league when they defeated Stellenbosch 4-0 away last week and it was also their seventh successive win.
As a result, Chiefs are sitting at the top of the league standings – 10 points above second-placed SuperSport United, but the former have a game in hand.

The win took Phunya Sele Sele to fifth place on the league standings – three points behind fourth-placed Lamontville Golden Arrows.
