Mamelodi Sundowns have secured a 3-1 comeback win over Stellenbosch FC.

Mamelodi Sundowns secured a 3-1 win over Stellenbosch FC in a heated Absa Premiership clash at Loftus Versfeld Stadium in Tshwane.

Themba Zwane, Sphelele Mkhulise and Keletso Makgalwa found the back of the net for the Brazilians as they reduced the difference between themselves and league leaders Kaizer Chiefs back to 10 points.

Defeat leaves Stellebosch rooted to the bottom of the table and a lot to work on ahead of their final game of the year.

Meanwhile Mamelodi Sundowns have confirmed the club has parted ways with Argentine forward Emiliano Tade.

Tade asked to be released from his contract, according to Sundowns, and the club obliged, despite the player only arriving from fellow Premier Soccer League side AmaZulu in January 2019.

Mamelodi Sundowns’ Argentine forward, Emiliano Tade approached the Club to be released from his contract and the club has conceded after the player cited personal reasons,” the club said in a statement.
