Former President of the United States Barack Obama released his coveted favourite songs of 2020 and it includes local artists.
Announcing some of his favourite songs for the year on Saturday evening, He said: “Here are some of my favourite songs of the year. As usual, I had some valuable consultation from our family music guru, Sasha, to put this together. I hope you find a new song or two to listen to.”
A list that included our very own Prince Kaybee’s hit, Uwrongo, featuring Shimza, Black Motion, Ami Faku among one of those songs.

Prince Kaybee received some intel that Barack Obama had made a list of his favourite songs of the year, and to his shock and surprise, Obama had chosen “Uwrongo” as one of the songs to be featured in his famous annual playlist.
Of course, Prince Kaybee could not contain his excitement, but who would? Imagine getting a thumbs up from one of the most influential people in the world.
Kaybee, responded by quoting the tweet and saying “I cannot breathe” with what seems like a 100 crying faces.
The list also includes global hits such as the Savage Remix by new rap sensation Megan Thee Stallion featuring queen of music Beyoncé, Summer 2020 by Jhene Aiko and Levitating by Dua Lipa and DaBaby.
