Orlando Pirates have registered their third win with a 1-0 victory over Highlands Park in the Absa Premiership this evening.

Both sides were cautious in the early stages but the visitors nearly opened the scoring in the 14th minute after Tshegofatso Mabasa whipped in a cross towards the back post but Vincent Pule's free header sailed over the bar.

Mabasa was lucky not to be sent off, after his dangerous lunge on Lindokuhle Mbatha only received a yellow card.

Nonetheless, Pirates claimed three points through Tshegofatso Mabasa's goal to climb up to eighth spot on the table with 12 points, while the hosts remain in fourth place.
