Le Clos, Douglas Erasmus and Clayton Jimmie swam in the heats session of the 50m butterfly and ended 12th, 15th and 18th in 24.38, 24.48 and 24.59, respectively.

In the 400m individual medley final, Ayrton Sweeney was 6th in 4:20.01 and earlier participated in the 200m breaststroke heats and concluded in an overall 10th position with a time of 2:17.21, while Emma Chelius finished 8th in the 100m freestyle final, clocking 56.31.
