Ghana have begun their AFCON 2021 qualifying campaign on a high with a win over South Africa at the Cape Coast Stadium.

Goals from Thomas Partey and Kudus Mohammed handed Black Stars a 2-0 win against Bafana Bafana. 

Elsewhere,Sudan recorded a 4-0 win over Sao Tome and Principe. Sudan and Ghana now lead Group A with 3 points apiece, followed by South Africa and Sao Tome and Principe with zero each.

The Black Stars will next travel to play Sao Tome and Principe on November 18,While Bafana Bafana will play Sudan on Sunday,17 November in Orlando Stadium.
