In Group D, Nigeria will face Egypt, Sudan and Guinea-Bissau.

Defending champs and tournament favourites Algeria lead a strong Group E that includes Sierra Leone, Equatorial Guinea and Ivory Coast, while Group F will see Tunisia, Mali, Mauritania and Gambia squaring off.

Africa Cup of Nations draw:

The 2021 Africa Nations Cup had to be postponed twice due to wet weather concerns and Covid-19 and even the draw, originally set for June, was delayed by the pandemic.

Cameroon were selected to stage the 2019 tournament, but fell behind with their preparation and Egypt had to take over a short notice.
