Orlando Pirates and Polokwane City will both be looking to bounce back from derby defeats in the Absa Premiership when they meet at Orlando Stadium tonight.

Pirates have suffered a fourth league defeat of the season when they were beaten 3-2 away to Soweto rivals Kaizer Chiefs on November 9. The Buccaneers, though, are unbeaten at home this season and have taken nine points from five matches.

And PSL Champions Mamelodi Sundowns have struggled with their consistency in the last month and battled to put two wins in succession together, but will hope to change that when they host AmaZulu.

Sundowns only won one of their last five games outright without the need for penalties, but that came on Saturday when they beat Lamontville Golden Arrows 2-1 in the Telkom Knockout semifinals.

They now welcome Usuthu with the chance to move seven points behind log leaders Kaizer Chiefs, and just apply a little pressure on the Soweto giants in the title race.

While Highlands Park will face Bidvest Wits in an Absa Premiership match at the Makhulong Stadium.

All matches Kick-off is at 7:30 pm

Also the Premier Soccer League has announced the dates for the Nedbank Cup qualification matches of second-tier sides this year with the field to be whittled down from 16 to the eight sides that will enter the Last 32.

The matches will take place this weekend, with all matches kicking off at 15h00.

Real Kings will host Steenberg United at the Chatsworth Stadium on Friday, while the other game of the day sees Swallows FC host Royal Eagles at the Dobsonville Stadium.

There will be four games on Saturday as Richards Bay entertain Ajax Cape Town at the Umhlathuze Sports Complex and Mbombela United welcome high-flyers JDR Stars to the Kanyamazane Stadium.

The 2018 Nedbank Cup winners Free State Stars will host TS Sporting at Goble Park, while two former finalists Jomo Cosmos and University of Pretoria clash at the Olen Park Stadium.

The final two games will be played on Sunday as TS Galaxy host Cape Umoya United at Kameelrivier Stadium and TTM welcome league leaders Uthongathi to the Thohoyandou Stadium.
