South Africa will take on Zambia in the final of the 2019 Cosafa Women's Championships after both produced convincing victories in their semifinals at the Wolfson Stadium in Port Elizabeth.

Banyana Banyana recorded a 3-1 win over Zimbabwe in their Council of Southern Africa Football Associations Women’s Championship semi-final match,and they now hold a proud record of five wins and three draws in their last eight outings against Zimbabwe.The last time Zimbabwe beat SA was a 1-0 score-line in a friendly international in Harare, Zimbabwe in December 2011.

While Zambia beat Botswana 4-0 in the other last-four encounter and they reach the COSAFA Women’s Championship final for the first time in their history, after three previous bronze-medal finishes.

The final between Zambia and South Africa will be played on Sunday at the Wolfson Stadium at 14h00.
