Lizo Gqoboka to captain Bulls in Currie Cup semi-final.
By Brenden Nel.
The Vodacom Bulls have been boosted by the return of three stalwarts - including Springbok Lizo Gqoboka as they prepare for Friday night’s Currie Cup semifinal against Griquas at Loftus Versfeld.
Marco Jansen van Vuren returns to the side and will slot into the midfield alongside Lionel Mapoe, which means that Stedman Gans moves out to the left wing for the clash.
Gqoboka returns to the front row alongside young upstart Jan-Hendrik Wessels, and joins veteran Jacques van Rooyen in a more potent looking front three.
Gqoboka will also captain the team.
The rest of the side has a youthful look on it, and other than Sidney Tobias and Dylan Smith on the bench there isn’t a lot of experience for the Bulls as they head into an important game to try and get to the final.
