DStv Premiership side Marumo Gallants have confirmed that the club will relocate to Bloemfontein for the 2024/2025 football season.

Their home games are set to be played at Dr Petrus Molemela Stadium, with larger fixtures hosted at the iconic Free State Stadium.

The club expressed profound gratitude for the warm reception from Free State supporters and stakeholders.

Gallants also confirmed it will compete under the name Marumo Gallants F.C. for the current season. Any future changes to the name will be communicated accordingly, the club said.

The club welcomed Dylan Kerr as the new head coach.

Kerr outlined the club's commitment to football development in Bloemfontein, emphasizing Gallants' vision to foster community engagement and uphold the football passion synonymous with the Free State province.

The club also confirmed the inclusion of retained Swallows players with valid contracts and negotiated the transfer of certain players from the former Gallants National First Division (NFD) team to the topflight.

Players with existing contracts will either join the PSL squad or remain with the NFD team following its sale. The club will release the selected squad list and technical team roster once all signings are finalised.

In addition, the club announced the appointment of former chairman Abram Sello as President.

Sello will oversee the club's strategic management in the upcoming season.

The club aims to make fans proud and has invited supporters nationwide to join in celebrating the start of the new PSL season. With preparations well underway, Gallants promise further updates and developments in the coming weeks.

Meanwhile Chippa United have continued the overhaul of their squad with the unveiling of four new players on Tuesday as co-coaches Kwanele Kopo and Thabo September plan for the new season.

The club have officially announced the signing of four new players in Blessing Jali, Xolani Sithole, Thobani Jacobs, and Sifiso Mazibuko ahead of the 2024/25 DStv Premiership campaign.

Elsewhere Sekhukhune United have unveiled former Kaizer Chiefs defender Njabulo Ngcobo as their latest signing after the expiry of his contract at Naturena.

Ngcobo, 30, joined Chiefs as reigning Defender of the Season from Moroka Swallows in July 2021, but somewhat never lived up to the expectations at the Glamour Boys.
