Mamelodi Sundowns Gastin Sirino is reportedly set for a face-to-face meeting with the Brazilians management with Cairo giants Al Ahly lurking again ahead of the January window.

Sirino was identified by Pitso Mosimane as Al Ahly’s main transfer target in the summer as they looked to bolster their attack.

The 29-year-old was said to be keen on a move to the Red Devils and publicly expressed his desire to leave Sundowns.

The transfer window in South Africa had shut on Monday, December 6th, making Sirino’s transfer saga even more complicated.

Sirino has not played any league game for Sundowns this season after submiting his transfer request to join Al Ahly.

According to KickOff, Al Ahly offered the Uruguayan midfielder double his current salary at Sundowns in addition to a hefty signing-on fee to reunite with Mosimane in Cairo.

Fullview understands that the relationship between Sundowns and Sirino has broken down and that he has made it clear he wants to go. Subsequently, Sundowns are already preparing for life without the 29-year-old.

Sirino has been at Sundowns since January of 2018, where he made a century of appearances, scoring 24 goals and registering 29 assists.
