Tatjana Schoenmaker made history to become first female to win a medal at FINA world championships

Tatjana Schoenmaker secured South Africa's second medal at the 2019 FINA World Championships in South Korea.

She finished second in the 200m breaststroke to take home the silver medal in a time of 2:22.52 while Yuliya Efimova of Russia won the gold medal in 2:20.17 and Canada's Sydney Pickrem took Bronze in 2:22.90.
