Mamelodi Sundowns made it two wins in as many matches in CAF Champions League Group B after beating a 10-man Algeria side CR Belouizdad 5-1 at the Benjamin Mkapa National Stadium.

Themba Zwane gave Mamelodi Sundowns the lead from the penalty spot in the fifth minute after Chouaib Keddad was red carded for a foul.

However, despite their numerical disadvantage, CR Belouizdad’s equalised in the 44th minute through midfielder Amir Sayoud.

Zwane then extended Mamelodi Sundowns’ lead with his second goal of the match in the 55th minute.

Lebogang Maboe made it 4-1 to Mamelodi Sundowns in the 75th minute as their one-man advantage took its toll.

Kermit Erasmus wrapped up the scoring in the 89th minute with Mamelodi Sundowns’ fifth goal.
