The Democratic Alliance leader Mmusi Maimane has revealed a letter that says the ANC has received R3 million from Bosasa and President Cyril Ramaphosa said he wanted to see the letter.

He then handed a copy of the letter to President Cyril Ramaphosa in Parliament, asking him what the Treasurer General Zweli Mkhize meant by the "continued financial support" from Bosasa.

The letter is dated March 31, 2014, less than two months before the national and provincial elections.

However during the State Capture Inquiry the Former Bosasa chief operations officer Angelo Agrizzi told Deputy Justice Raymond Zondo that the company had supported the ANC financially for many years.

President Cyril Ramaphosa said he would study the letter and respond to Maimane at later stage.
