The African National Congress briefs the media on the outcomes of the meeting of National Officials around the latest developments within the party.

The briefing will be led by Deputy Secretary-General Jessie Duarte and Treasurer-General Paul Mashatile.

The ANC top six say they have not discussed whether Secretary-General, Ace Magashule should step down or not.

The top six met on Tuesday night following the warrant issued for Magashule's arrest.

ANC Treasurer-General, Paul Mashatile says the party has not ventured into whether Magashule should step down or not.

"No, we did not discuss that, the SG briefed us about the letters he has received from law enforcement agencies and the fact that he will cooperate and go to court on Friday.

"You will recall, I am sure most of the generals know that the issue of stepping down is a matter that the NEC still sits with and I am sure in the next NEC the matter will be discussed further," said Mashatile.

Meanwhile, Magashule has assured fellow party leaders that he will cooperate with law enforcement officials and will present himself before court on Friday.
