Eskom will no longer implement Stage 4 load shedding on Saturday, owing it to a slight improvement in generation capacity as well as the recovery of emergency reserves for the week ahead.
“The slight improvement in generation capacity, as well as the recovery of emergency reserves for the week ahead, has enabled Eskom not to implement Stage 4 load shedding from 16:00 today, as previously communicated,” Eskom said.
“Stage 3 load shedding will remain in place until 16:00 on Sunday when Stage 4 load shedding will be implemented, “it added.
Eskom noted that it would closely monitor the power system and communicate any changes should it be required.
For access to other load shedding schedules, Eskom has made them available on loadshedding.eskom.co.za.
