The Hollywoodbets Dolphins and the Momentum Multiply Titans endured a frustrating opening day of their CSA 4-Day Series match during which not a ball was bowled at Kingsmead in Durban on Tuesday.
Both sides had lost their opening games and were keen to play but ultimately they were denied by the umpires’ decision that the conditions were too damp.
There had been some overnight rain and a little early drizzle, but aside from a 15-minute period of light drizzle in the morning the weather remained dry throughout the day until the umpires decided to abandon play at 2:25pm.
