There were three six-goal matches in the final Bundesliga Matchday of 2024 as another unpredictable year concluded in the German top-flight.

FC Bayern München set the tone on Friday night, with five different players getting on the scoresheet in their 5-1 home win over RB Leipzig.

Bayer 04 Leverkusen, currently four points behind Bayern in second, also notched five, with four of them coming from Patrik Schick.

And Holstein Kiel got their second win of the season, and they did it in style, putting five past FC Augsburg to keep them off the bottom of the table for Christmas, with a double for Kiel’s Japanese forward Shuto Machino.

In the Bundesliga 2, 1. FC Köln finish the year on top after they beat 1. FC Kaiserslautern 1-0 yesterday, but it still remains incredibly tight as we head into 2025.
