Royal AM Football Club have announced the signing of vastly experienced former Orlando Pirates captain Happy Jele.
The 36-year-old versatile defender is expected to bring a wealth of experience to the team.
Jele was spotted in training with the club this week, and his transfer was confirmed on Friday.
A post from the club on social media read: “We are excited to have you around, Welcome aboard! Happy Jele.”
Royal AM are fighting to avoid relegation and recently confirmed the return of John Maduka as head coach.
The Durban-based outfit will return to action on Saturday in a DStv Premiership clash against KwaZulu-Natal neighbours Golden Arrows.
