Proteas captain Aidan Markram won the toss and opted to bowl in the second KFC T20 international against the West Indies at SuperSport Park, Centurion on Sunday.
Having seen how the West Indies chased and won in the first encounter, Markram has followed the same decision in a side that sees two changes, quick bowlers Marco Jansen and Kagiso Rabada coming in for Anrich Nortje, who is being rested, and spinner Bjorn Fortuin who came in for some punishment from the West Indian batsmen.
West Indian skipper Rovman Powell would also have bowled first and has two changes in his side. Raymon Riefer has replaced Roston Chase, who took a blow on the arm in the first game, and Jason Holder strengthens the batting lineup, coming in for Alzarri Joseph.
The Proteas must win the match to keep their hopes of a series victory alive.
