South Africa’s football national team coach Hugo Broos has named his 23-man squad to play Morocco in their final Group K Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.
Both teams have already qualified for the tournament in Ivory Coast next year, with Morocco winning their first two games in the group, which was downgraded to just three teams after Zimbabwe’s ongoing ban from international football by FIFA.
South Africa are aiming at securing a win over the North African giants who are sitting at the top of the Group.
Morocco are riding high in confidence after their impressive performance in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, where they became the first African nation to reach the semifinals.
The match is set to take place at FNB Stadium on Saturday, 17 June (17:00).
