Coach Ntseki again targeted by angry Kaizer Chiefs fans.

By Lehlohonolo Lehana.

Kaizer Chiefs head coach Molefi Ntseki again left the pitch at Peter Mokaba Stadium with fans hurling objects at him after 1-0 defeat to Supersport United.

Chiefs dominated possession and played some attractive football at times, but just like against Royal AM on Saturday, they couldn’t apply a finish.

SuperSport, on the other hand, took their opportunity right at the start of the game and then relied heavily on a backs-to-the wall performance that ultimately earned Gavin Hunt’s side a vital three points.

Itumeleng Khune was handed a chance in goal by Ntseki against SuperSport, the veteran goalkeeper setting a new PSL record as he started a game for the same club for the 17th successive season.

However Bradley Grobler showed incredible awareness and poise under pressure. Grobler delivered an immaculately dinked pass to find Terence Dzvukamanja who smashed the ball home first time, to leave Khune with no chance.

After the match, Chiefs fans once again expressed their frustrations with the technical team and leadership, with football manager Bobby Motaung trying to calm down disgruntled supporters.

Chiefs have a chance at redemption when they travel to Mamelodi Sundowns in the second leg of their MTN8 semi-final on Saturday.
