The Premier Soccer League (PSL) has confirmed that the much anticipated MTN8 semifinal second leg between Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs is sold out.
Sundowns take on Chiefs at Lucas Moripe Stadium in Atteridgeville, with this two-legged tie sitting on a knife edge after they played to a 1-1 draw in the first leg two weekends ago.
“Gates will open at 11h00 and ticket holders are requested to arrive early to ensure smooth entry to the match venue,” the PSL statement read.
“The PSL is working closely with the South African Police Service and several other safety and security role players to ensure that the MTN8 semi-final fixtures are safe and secure.”
“As part of the stringent security measures around the stadium, people engaging in illegal behaviour such as ticket peddling will face immediate arrest. There will be no tickets sold at the stadium.”
The game kicks off at 15h00, while the other semi-final between Orlando Pirates and Stellenbosch will take place on Sunday at Orlando Stadium.

Mamelodi Sundowns (1) v Kaizer Chiefs (1)
A 1-1 draw will send the game to a penalty shoot-out to see who progresses to the final. The game will progress directly to spot kicks, there will be not be extra time. In this scenario the aggregate scores will be tied.
A draw above 1-1 that is 2-2, 3-3 etc will see Chiefs progress to the final on away goals.
Orlando Pirates (2) v Stellenbosch (1)
A win for Pirates will see them progress to the next round.
A draw will see Pirates progress to the next round.
A victory for Stellenbosch by two goals or more will see them progress to the final, e.g. 2-0, 3-1, 4-2.
A 2-1 win for Stellenbosch will send the game to a penalty shoot-out as the aggregate scores will be tied. In this scenario there will be no extra time.
