Chippa United Football Club have announced that Vusumuzi Vilakazi has resigned from his position as Technical Director.
Vilakazi has only been at the club for two months following his appointment in September, having left Golden Arrows.
“Chippa United FC wishes to announce that Vusumuzi Vilakazi has resigned from his position as Technical Director,” the club’s statement read.
“While his tenure with us was unexpectedly brief, we respect Vusumuzi’s decision to step down.
“Vilakazi’s decision has indeed come as a surprise as we had looked forward to a longer collaboration, drawing on his fresh perspective and youthful vigour.
“However, we respect his choice to pursue the next chapter in his professional journey. In moving forward, We thank Vilakazi for his service and close this chapter with mutual respect and goodwill.”
Vilakazi spent 20 years with Arrows – from being a player to being the communications manager and leading the club two DStv Diski Challenge titles.
