The toss for the first T20I between England and South Africa at Sophia Gardens in Cardiff has been delayed due to rain.
England named their starting XI on Tuesday while South Africa is yet to name their team but they will be without fast bowler Lungi Ngidi
Ngidi sustained the injury during training on Tuesday at Sophia Gardens, and subsequent scans confirmed its extent.
He will return home on Thursday. Nandre Burger has been named as his replacement and will join the squad ahead of the second T20I in Manchester.
England: Phil Salt, Jos Buttler (wkt), Jacob Bethell, Harry Brook (captain), Sam Curran, Tom Banton, Will Jacks, Jamie Overton, Liam Dawson, Jofra Archer, Adil Rashid.
South Africa (possible): Aiden Markram (captain), Ryan Rickelton, Lhuan-dre Pretorius, Dewald Brevis, Tristan Stubbs, Donovan Ferreira, Corbin Bosch, Marco Jansen, Keshav Maharaj, Kwena Maphaka, Lizaad Williams.
