Nolubabalo Mcinga has slammed Afrika Mayibuye Movement’s decision to oust her as the party’s deputy president, calling the decision a sign of hypocrisy.
The party cited allegations of organisational and political misconduct, as the main decision to remove her, and to protect and defend the integrity of the organisation against infiltration and abuse of office for personal gain.
The former ANCYL spokesperson, EFF deputy president, and MK Party secretary general is one of the founding members of Afrika Mayibuye Movement.
A businesswoman, author and philanthropist, Mcinga is the sixth wife of AbuThembu King Buyelekhaya Dalindyebo.
In her statement, She dismissed the eight misconduct charges against her, saying they are false and part of a smear campaign to silence her.
The party cited her unauthorised chat with Jacob Zuma and faking financial figures among other misconduct charges.
Mcinga made it clear she has not quit and she stays a proud member of both the uMkhonto weSizwe Party and Afrika Mayibuye. She said the party’s choice to fire her shows its true colours – not the unity it promised, but division and control.
She denied the charges, calling them lies meant to hurt her name. On the Zuma meeting, she said it was personal and had nothing to do with the party.
Mcinga also rejected claims of faking finances or promising a PR firm work, saying no such deals were made. She called out what she sees as gender-based harm in politics, using power to quiet strong women.
“I remain a community activist, a traditional leader, an author, motivational speaker for youth, schools, entrepreneurship, women’s voices, and business pioneer in airport parking, training and recruitment services,” Mcinga stated. “I reaffirm my commitment to transparency, legal rights, and protecting my name and integrity.”
While Mcinga has been stripped of her leadership role, she retains full membership rights within the Movement, the officials confirmed.
