The SA20 match between Durban Super Giants and MI Cape Town (MICT) has been disrupted by rain at the Hollywoodbets Kingsmead on Sunday afternoon.
MICT captain Rashid Khan won the toss and chose to bowl first but only to see Black Caps opener Devon Conway hit fellow countryman Trent Boult for two sixes in the opening over.
However rain has had the final say and each team will receive two points.
The washout gave holder MICT their first points of the season after they opened with a defeat to the same team two nights ago.
The home side had named an unchanged XI while MICT have given a debut to Afghan seamer Karin Janat ahead of young South African paceman Tristan Luus.
