Kaizer Chiefs have announced the departure of their attacking midfielder Siphelele Ntshangase.
Chiefs issued a statement confirming that his contract has been terminated by mutual consent.
The early termination of the contract follows weeks of discussions and processes between the two parties‚ “the club said.
“Kaizer Chiefs and Siphelele Ntshangase have come to a decision to part ways with immediate effect,” read a statement from the club.

“Ntshangase’s contract with Amakhosi was due to end at the end of the current season after being extended for one season last year.
“We wish him well in his career.”
The former Black Leopards star arrived at Naturena as a big-name signing in January 2018 after he played some enterprising football for Baroka FC the previous year.
His only appearances in the Premiership this season have been off the bench and it has become apparent that coach Gavin Hunt has made up his mind up.
Ntshangase has failed to register a goal in 38 appearances for Kaizer Chiefs and has not played a full 90 minutes during the 2020/21 campaign.
Meanwhile Chiefs have extended the contract of defender Siyabonga Ngezana for three years with an option to extend with a further two years. This potentially means he will be with Amakhosi for another five years.
The 23-year-old player joined Amakhosi as a Youth Development Academy player at the age of 17. He spent two years in the junior structures before being promoted to the senior team where he scored on his debut against Mamelodi Sundowns in October 2017.
“The feeling is great,” says Ngezana with a smile after signing a new contract. “It always feels like I’m joining the club for the first time when I sign a new contract. I am looking forward to repaying the club by working hard and hopefully winning trophies.”
The lanky defender has been a regular in the team this season and will be travelling with the team to Angola for the Group C game in the Champions League against Petro de Luanda.
