SA Police Services (SAPS) have confirmed that another man has been arrested for his involvement in the murder of slain media personality Warrick “DJ Warras” Stock.
Stock was gunned down on December 16, 2025, as he exited a building near the Carlton Centre in Johannesburg’s central business district.
The second suspect was arrested during a Crime Intelligence-led operation in the Marathon informal settlement in Primrose on Friday night.
Gauteng spokesperson, Brigadier Brenda Muridili said. “The Gauteng Serious and Violent Crimes Investigation’s Provincial Investigation Unit has, during a Crime Intelligence-led take-down operation, arrested another suspect in connection with the murder of DJ Warras.
“The 25-year-old suspect, a Mozambican national, was arrested in Marathon informal settlement in Primrose around 20:00 on 30 January 2026,” Muridili said.
Muridili added that the suspect is expected to appear in court on Monday, February 2 2026, facing charges of murder and contravention of the Immigration Act.
This arrest follows the earlier detention of Victor Majola, who has been charged with premeditated murder and conspiracy to commit murder. Majola was denied bail on January 26, 2026 and is due back in court on February 11, 2026.
