SA Police Services (SAPS) has confirmed that six people have been killed and several others injured on the R59 in Meyerton, South of Johannesburg.
Police said three suspects have been arrested in connection with the incident.
Fullview learnt that the deceased were shot and killed after the minibus they were travelling in was ambushed by a group of suspects.
Major-General Fred Kekana addressed the media at the crime scene, saying, the victims as well as the suspects were Lesotho nationals.
Kekana says, three suspects were arrested and scene is still on and our forensics team is still on the ground processing the scene.
