Former footballer and coach, Neil Tovey, will be the guest on the next Intune with Sports Coaching Webinar. He will be chatting about the UEFA Euro 2020 final and the upcoming Olympic games.
The Intune with coaching series makes a return once again with an exciting chat with former Kaizer Chiefs and Bafana captain Neil Tovey on Thursday, 15th July 2021. His football career also including coaching at top clubs such as Mamelodi Sundowns, and his most recent football journey took him on a 5-year stint as South Africa’s Technical Director for the South African Football Associations (SAFA).
The UEFA Euro 2020 recently concluded with a nail-biting thriller being decided via a dreaded penalty shootout. Italy won the trophy after 53 years leaving England taking the silver medals. Tovey will chat about this game and what valuable lessons South African coaches can learn.
In addition to reviewing this exciting game, he will also preview the upcoming Olympic games which commences in just over a week’s time which will feature various South African Olympians and teams.
