The Premier Soccer League have broken their silence on the delay behind the release of next season’s fixtures.
It is not quite clear how the fixtures are going to look as there remains the unresolved court case between the PSL, Sekhukhune United FC and Royal AM.
According to the league’s acting CEO Mato Madlala, decisions will be made regarding the matter following an Exco meeting next Thursday.
“We have an executive meeting on Thursday, that’s when it’s going to be decided and then there will be an official word after that,” Madlala told Kickoff.
With the likes of Kaizer Chiefs back in the transfer market following their FIFA ban, it promises to be a very entertaining 2021/22 season.
Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns have also bolstered their squads with numerous new signings thus far, while presumed newcomers Sekhukhune United have already confirmed nine signings.
On the touchline, a number of changes have also been made with former Golden Arrows head coach Mandla Ncikazi joining The Buccaneers, while Amakhosi have brought back tactician Stuart Baxter.
Ncikazi has confirmed that he will serve as an assistant coach at Orlando Pirates after joining the club’s technical team last month.
