Swallows FC head coach Brandon Truter’s is expected to return to action in two weeks after being placed on leave by the club earlier this week.
Truter has taken time off following the side’s poor start to the season, and that he will miss two games against Cape Town City – in the DStv Premiership and MTN8 semifinals – as well as the Premiership clash with Mamelodi Sundowns on October 3.
He was placed on leave ‘due to personal reasons’ following the 3-0 defeat to SuperSport United on Sunday.
Assistant coach Simo Dladla has been put in charge of the team on an interim basis with interest already flooding in for the potentially vacant job.
Swallows host City in the league on Friday before playing them again in an MTN8 second-leg clash at Dobsonville Stadium next Wednesday.
The next Sunday they then visit Mamelodi Sundowns in the league.
Though Truter took Swallows to promotion from the GladAfrica Championship with a string of wins his PSL debut has been dominated by draws.
In the last 27 games that he has overseen, Swallows have drawn 19, winning just four games while also losing only four.
