Borussia Dortmund will continue their Bundesliga title tilt with a challenging fixture away to RB Leipzig at the Red Bull Arena on Saturday evening.
Dortmund’s 4-0 victory over 1. FSV Mainz 05 last weekend was their sixth league win in a row, and they have now lost just one of their past 30 fixtures in the top flight. They are also only six points behind Bundesliga leaders FC Bayern München, having been 11 adrift just a matter of weeks ago.
Leipzig, meanwhile, battled back from a two-goal deficit to draw 2-2 with VfL Wolfsburg. As a result, they are two points behind VfB Stuttgart in fourth place, having won just one of their previous five fixtures across all competitions.
Earlier on Saturday, Bayern play host to Eintracht Frankfurt at the Allianz Arena. After two Bundesliga games without a win, the reigning champions have prevailed in their past two encounters against TSG Hoffenheim and SV Werder Bremen by an aggregate score of 8-1, with Harry Kane taking his personal league tally for the campaign to a record-equalling 26 goals after 22 matchdays.
New Frankfurt head coach Albert Riera remains unbeaten across his first two games in the dugout, defeating Borussia Mönchengladbach 3-0 last time out. Die Adler are currently seventh in the table, although they trail Bayer 04 Leverkusen in sixth by eight points.
Die Werkself will continue their UEFA Champions League qualification push when they travel to 1. FC Union Berlin, also on Saturday. Kasper Hjulmand’s men are un beaten in their last five league games, conceding just twice, while Die Eisernen are winless in seven.
Third-placed Hoffenheim make the trip to 1. FC Köln as they continue their impressive campaign. Christian Ilzer’s side have been beaten in only two of their previous 16 league matches, while their opponents have prevailed only twice in their last 13.
Fellow top-four chasers Stuttgart are away at 1. FC Heidenheim 1846 in the matchday’s final clash on Sunday evening. Die Schwaben, inspired by top scorer Deniz Undav, have lost only one of their seven Bundesliga games in 2026, and they will be con dent of getting the better of a side still waiting to taste victory this calendar year and at risk of being cut adrift at the bottom.
Looking to stay in the race for the European spots are SC Freiburg, who welcome Mönchengladbach to the Europa-Park Stadion. One defeat in their last five games have kept the Black Forest club in eighth, five positions and eight points ahead of the Foals.
The middle of Sunday’s three xtures is a huge clash in the race for survival, as Bremen travel to FC St. Pauli. The sides currently occupy 16th and 17th in the table respectively, although six points from their past six games compared to Werder’s two may give St. Pauli the edge.
Die Kiezkicker’s city neighbours Hamburger SV will kick o the matchday’s action when they face Mainz at the MEWA Arena on Friday. This xture pits two sides in decent form against each other, with HSV unbeaten in five and the 05ers emerging victorious from four of their past six.
Finally, Wolfsburg host FC Augsburg at the Volkswagen Arena. The Wolves’ draw with Leipzig ended a run of three straight defeats, while Augsburg have won three of their last four to move up to 11th.
