Mamelodi Sundowns have secured a hard-fought 3–1 victory over Sekhukhune United at Loftus Versfeld on Sunday afternoon.
The result means Sundowns moved to 41 points, to go level with Orlando Pirates at the summit of the Betway Premiership.
Marcelo Allende broke the deadlock for the hosts in the 31st minute, but the visitors clawed their way back with 20 minutes remaining courtesy of a Bradley Grobler equalizer.
However, the newly signed Monnapule Saleng found second-half-substitute Iqraam Rayners with a cross inside the area before the striker finished from close range.
Rayners added an assurance goal in stoppage time with a right-footed shot from outside the 18-yard-area.
Sundowns have now completed a league double over Babina Noko, having secured a 2-0 victory in the reverse fixture earlier in the season.
Meanwhile Durban City had to dig deep to secure a 1-0 victory over Marumo Gallants in the Betway Premiership match played at the Lucas Moripe Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
