Airports Company South Africa (ACSA) says repair work has been successfully concluded at OR Tambo International Airport (ORTIA) and water supply has been restored to all terminals.
This comes after the earlier announcement that terminals at the ORTIA are experiencing a temporary water outage.
In a brief statement, ACSA said, water pressure is currently building up, will continue to normalise and apologised for the inconvenience caused while the repairs were underway.

Meanwhile a multibillion-rand airport security tender is heading to the Gauteng Division of the High Court after Acsa abruptly cancelled a 10-year contract for new smart detection equipment at major airports.
The application was brought by security company Mafoko Security Patrols, which seeks to have the tender cancellation set aside.
The tender called for the “design, supply, project management, installation, integration, testing, commissioning, handover and maintenance of smart new detection equipment”.
It included the decommissioning of existing detection equipment for a period of 10 years at Acsa-owned and operated airports.
The equipment list included full body scanners, advanced X-ray inspection systems, trace detection systems and automated tray return solutions intended to modernise passenger screening infrastructure across nine airports.
Though Acsa has declined to disclose the estimated value of the tender, it is understood that the contract could have been worth between R3 billion and R6 billion over its full term.
