The Vodacom Bulls XV have once again been forced into sweeping changes, naming three more debutants for crucial Currie Cup clash against the Airlink Pumas at Loftus Versfeld this afternoon.
Bottom of the Currie Cup standings after three rounds, the Bulls return home knowing victory is vital to reignite their campaign against a tough Pumas side.
Dieter Schubert will make his first Currie Cup start at number eighth, along with bench options Jon Hobson and Jacques Swarts. Their inclusions push the total number of players handed debuts by the Bulls XV to an extraordinary 23 across just four matches this season.
In addition to the fresh faces, key positional switches have been made across the backline. Keagan Johannes steps into the primary playmaking channel at scrumhalf, while Devon Williams slotting into the flyhalf role provides a different tactical dynamic as the hosts aim to unlock the Pumas’ defence.
