South Africa have made two late changes to their starting XV for the second Castle Double Malt Rugby’s Greatest Rivalry Series Test against New Zealand in Cape Town on Saturday, 29 August 2026.
Handre Pollard is replaced by Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu and Cheslin Kolbe comes in for Kurt-Lee Arendse.
Flyhalf Feinberg-Mngomezulu played in the 33-16 loss to the All Blacks in Johannesburg last weekend but was dropped to the bench to accommodate the experienced Pollard.
Pollard picked up a niggle at training on Wednesday, and after being assessed on Friday morning, the decision was made to withdraw him from the team.
While Kolbe has recovered fully from the knock that saw him leave the field in last week’s opening Test between the sides in Johannesburg but has been declared fit enough to play. Arendse drops out altogether.
The match, which will be hosted at the DHL Stadium, kicks off at 17h10 and will be broadcast live on SuperSport.
