Sibanye-Stillwater adds A2X secondary listing.

The gold and platinum producer Sibanye Stillwater will add a secondary listing on A2X exchange, giving investors another platform on which to trade its shares.

Sibanye Stillwater said on Tuesday, 29 September 2026, its shares have been approved for inclusion on the A2X from October 6.

Its primary listing on the JSE and its secondary listing of American depositary shares on the New York Stock Exchange will remain unchanged.

Sibanye-Stillwater said the additional listing would broaden access to its shares and give shareholders more choice, while potentially supporting trading liquidity. No new shares will be issued and the group’s issued share capital will not change.

A2X is a licensed South African stock exchange that provides a secondary trading venue for listed companies. It is regulated by the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA) and the Prudential Authority (PA) of the South African Reserve Bank (SARB).

Kevin Brady, CEO of A2X Markets says, “We welcome Sibanye Stillwater to A2X. We will help them increase value for shareholders through lower exchange fees and price improvement as well as provide their investors with more choice in trading venues.”

Sibanye-Stillwater is one of the world’s larger producers and refiners of platinum group metals.

The mining giant joins mining companies Exxaro, Tharisa and African Rainbow Minerals (ARM), which are already listed on A2X. This listing will boost A2X’s combined market capitalisation to about R5-trillion.
