The leader board at the Independent Electoral Commission ROC in Gallagher Estates in Midrand is starting to reflect results as audited.
The first results from the 2024 elections came through at 00:18 from the Winnie Madikizela-Mandela municipality in the Eastern Cape.

Bizana Baptist Church, Mbizana, Eastern Cape:
ANC 61% (-12)

Voting stations for the 2024 general elections are officially closed. Only persons who were in the queue as at 9pm will be allowed to vote. The IEC has assured that these people would be allowed to vote deep into the night, if necessary.
