The White Star Miss Soweto pageant has confirmed its Top 20 finalists for much-anticipated 46th edition, taking place on 29 November 2025 at the Soweto Theatre in Jabulani, Soweto.
The journey to the crown began on 16 October 2025, when the finalists were unveiled at an elegant soirée at the Johannesburg Country Club.

This year’s finalists are a diverse group of remarkable young women, each bringing unique stories and aspirations to the table:
- Amogelang Legodi, an aspiring teacher with a love for Maths and Science
- Anele Samantha Moyo, a BCom Law student at the University of South Africa and a strong advocate for mental health
- Boitumelo Molotsane, last year’s Miss Soweto Second Princess, returns stronger, wiser, and more certain of who she is and what she stands for
- Dimpho Rhandzu Nkosi, who knows her capabilities and understands that pageantry is not just a competition; it’s a journey of growth, sisterhood, and forming new friendships
- Karabo Mphelo, a dynamic fashion designer bringing life to creations from Meadowlands, Soweto
- Kayla Khayakazi Maseko, inspired by those who rise above challenges and make a positive difference
- Kutlwano Zingitwa, a Data Science student passionate about using technology and innovation to effect real change
- Lehlohonolo Ralesenyeho, an Environmental ambassador championing sustainability and conservation
- Lindiwe Nkwanyana, who firmly believes that education can change the world
- Lungile Siyaphi, co-founder of the Ma’Mlangeni’s Feeding Scheme and a strong believer that children are our future
- Maite Mogano, a dedicated Media Studies student on a mission to amplify voices and stories that need to be heard
- Nonjabulo Xaba embodies the four B’s: Beauty, Body, Brain, and Business
- Nosipho Mavuso, naturally analytical, dedicated, and driven by a profound desire to serve
- Octavia (Matshidiso) Mashaba, a civil engineering student inspired by the tenacity and resilience of her people
- Paballo Kobuoe, a law student at Rosebank College with a deep passion for justice, culture, and self-expression
- Paballo Makomoreng, a sport management graduate determined to show young girls from surrounding Soweto communities that anything is possible
- Phiwe Cugege, a civil engineering student living with mental health experiences, is motivated to raise awareness and empower young minds
- Thando Motha, a mentor, makeup artist, and content creator, is leveraging her background in Early Childhood Development and Human Resource Management to inspire confidence, resilience, and growth in others
- Tiana Thakral, a dedicated GBV activist and peer educator, passionate about building a safer, more equitable society
- Valentina Makhubu, an education student eager to establish her own youth empowerment foundation
These exceptional young women will participate in a series of workshops designed to develop their leadership skills, foster a spirit of giving back, and prepare them for the responsibilities that come with holding the esteemed Miss Soweto title.
