Judas Moseamedi was on Wednesday unveiled by Marumo Gallants who have signed him as a free agent as he was eligible to put pen to paper with a club of his choice.
Moseamedi recently parted ways with Stellenbosch FC after spending one-and-half seasons with the Cape Winelands side. The 28-year-old made 32 appearances and scored six goals.
Before his time at Stellies, Moseamedi enjoyed his football at Maritzburg United where he he scored 15 goals in 74 appearances.
According to Gallants, the lanky striker has signed a six-month deal and he will be tasked with scoring goals in order for Dan Malesela’s men to move up the log.
Gallants have scored 11 goals in 17 games, which is the joint second-least number of goals in the league. They are tied with Maritzburg United, while TS Galaxy (8) have scored the least number of goals.
They currently have Riyaaz Nell, Ranga Chivaviro and Letsie Koapeng as their main strikers.
Gallants are rock bottom with 14 points from 17 games having won just two, drawn eight and lost seven to date.
