The Proteas will host Bangladesh in one-day international and Test series from next month, Cricket South Africa confirmed on Wednesday.
The tour will consist of three ODIs and two Tests played across four venues from 18 March to 12 April 2022.
The first Test in Durban is scheduled to start on 31 March with the second Test in Gqeberha taking place from 8 April.
The ODI series will be played on the Highveld, with two matches in Centurion and one at the Wanderers.
Bangladesh tour of South Africa:
1st ODI – Friday, 18 March: SuperSport Park, Centurion
2nd ODI – Sunday, 20 March: Wanderers, Johannesburg
3rd ODI – Wednesday, 23 March: SuperSport Park, Centurion
1st Test – Thursday, 31 March to Monday, 4 April: Kingsmead, Durban
2nd Test – Friday, 8 April to Tuesday, 12 April: St George’s Park, Gqeberha
“The tour is of great significance for the hosts, as both series count for vital points in the ICC Cricket World Cup Super League and the ICC World Test Championship,” CSA said in a statement.
The Proteas are currently in New Zealand for a two-Test series starting in Christchurch on 17 February.
