Raja Casablanca appoints Nasreddine Nabi as head coach.

Moroccan giants Raja Casablanca confirmed the appointment of former Kaizer Chiefs head coach Nasreddine Nabi as their new manager.

Nabi replaces South African tactician Fadlu Davids, who was officially relieved of his duties on Friday.

Raja confirmed Davids’ departure on Friday morning, announcing that the two parties had agreed to go their separate ways as the club looks to reignite its title challenge. 

Davids left the Casbalanca team in third position on the Botola Pro 1 table, three points behind league leaders AS FAR Rabat.

The Green Eagles trail league leaders RS Berkane by only four points, but recent defeats against Berkane, Wydad AC and KAC Marrakech ultimately proved costly.

Nabi’s last job was with Amakhosi, where he helped end a decade-long trophy drought by winning the Nedbank Cup. He left the club early in the 2025/26 season and was succeeded by his assistants, Cedric Kaze and Khalil Ben Youssef, who stepped in as co-coaches.
