Few artists have managed to shape the global soundtrack of the past four decades quite like Bryan Adams. From his gravelly voice and timeless ballads to his high-energy anthems that fill arenas, Adams has earned his place as one of rock’s most enduring figures.
Now, South African fans will once again have the chance to experience his electrifying stage presence when he brings his Roll With The Punches world tour to the country in April 2026.
The Canadian rock legend will perform at the Grand Arena, GrandWest in Cape Town on 21 April, the SunBet Arena, Time Square in Pretoria on 25 April, and the Durban ICC on 28 April.
Each concert promises a dynamic mix of fresh tracks from his latest album and the classics that have become cornerstones of popular music. Presented by Big Concerts, in association with Hot 102.7 FM, KFM 94.5 and East Coast Radio, the tour is set to be one of the most highly anticipated live events of the year.
Bryan Adams’ career is one of extraordinary longevity and global impact. His music has topped charts in more than 40 countries, and he has toured relentlessly for nearly forty years. Along the way, he has collected an impressive array of honours, including a Grammy Award, 20 Juno Awards, 15 Grammy nominations, three Academy Award nominations, and five Golden Globe nominations.
His achievements extend beyond music. Adams has received the Order of British Columbia and the Order of Canada, and was later promoted to the rank of Officer within the order. He has been inducted into the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Canada’s Walk of Fame, the Canadian Music Hall of Fame, and the Canadian Broadcast Hall of Fame.
Far from resting on past successes, Adams has continued to evolve. In 2018, he co-wrote the score for Pretty Woman: The Musical, demonstrating his versatility as a songwriter. His 16th studio album, So Happy It Hurts, arrived in 2022 to widespread acclaim, reaffirming his reputation as one of rock’s most resilient figures.
In 2023, he revisited his catalogue with Classics, a double album of re-recorded hits, followed by a three-album box set capturing his residency at London’s Royal Albert Hall. A year later, he launched his independent label, Bad Records, releasing exclusive vinyl and digital singles, including Rock and Roll Hell and War Machine.
His most recent project, Roll With The Punches, released in 2025, signals yet another creative chapter. Its lead singles — Roll With The Punches, Make Up Your Mind, Never Ever Let You Go and A Little More Understanding — showcase Adams’ ability to blend fresh energy with the unmistakable sound that has carried him through four decades at the top.
His philanthropic efforts, particularly through the Bryan Adams Foundation, have further cemented his legacy. The foundation is dedicated to improving education worldwide, a cause Adams has championed for years.
